The Hive Community Play Centre in Glyfada
A parent run place for all ages with a super, family friendly atmosphere. Well resourced indoor environment and secure outdoor play area to stimulate those little ones. Amazing concept where children learn through their own free play with supportive parents close at hand.
English speaking playgroup ‘The Bumble Babies’ available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 09.30-12.30 for 0-3 years.
The Hive also offers monthly Sticky Bees Messy Play events for various ages. Additionally the place is available to rent for birthday parties and themed events if you happen to celebrate on the south coast of Athens.

On the beach with the little ones: perhaps no need to over-emphasize but do stay safe.
Do have sun protection and try avoiding direct sun between noon and 4 PM.
The Greek seas are safe. But you can always stay super safe: we have lifeguards on most organized beaches. An orange flag means there is a lifeguard on duty. A red flag: there is no lifeguard on duty.
Book your umbrella and sun bed in advance on most organized beaches around Glyfada, Varkiza, Vouliagmeni. Or go really early – right at the opening, usually 8 AM in the morning in high season .
